THIS ARTICLE SAVE A HORSE, RIDE A COWBOY - Rope‘em and Ride‘em at Fort Lauderdale Country Bars - By JW ARNOLD - Oct. 04, 2006
YEE HAH! PLENTY OF hot South Florida cowboys jammed into Manhattan South on September 22, and if you’d played your cards right, you probably would have scored a real, live cowboy. Manhattan South is a popular destination for cowboys—and guys who like cowboys - but throw in performances by the Southern Country Sundancers, Rough Riders and the Mustangs square dancers, and you’ve got a big night at the old waterin’ hole. Drink specials abounded and there were raffles, but most were there to see South Florida’s premiere country-western dance teams perform. This article about SoCoSo is under the heading "Toe the Line", with a picture of the SunDancers at Pride 2003. [Article dated March 3, 2004]. This article concerns the RoughRider Show "The Fantastic Voyage" that the SunDancers performed in at the Broward Performing Arts. ["Life Is a Cabaret" - August 19th, 2004]. This article was written for our 2004 Memorial Day events at Manhattan South. ["two-stepping the night away" - June 4th, 2004]. Benefit for Southern Country South Florida If anyone has articles (for SoCoSoFo) that are already in electronic format please forward them to the webmaster. |
